Hot water cylinder energy saving tips from Steve

• Switch off your cylinder while you are away on holiday for over 2 weeks.  On your return you’ll need half a day after cranking it back up before you use it to ensure any bacteria are killed.
   

• The temperature of your water should be between 55°C and 60°C.  If you want this tested or adjusted, we are happy to help.
   

• Wrap your cylinder up all cosy. If you wrap your pre - 2002 cylinder you are going to find you’ll save a chunk of money over the year.
